Panasonic KX-TG2550S 2.4 Gigarange Cordless Phone with Caller ID, Silver Price

This unit purchased in ‘97. It was new tech then. It has been dropped, chewed on & dragged (baby), dropped in the washer machine (wife) and immediately picked up. It is worn now, had never replaced its batteries. The sound quality is excellent, although walls are concrete. I can talk from base easily 80-100 ft. I would buy another Panasonic Gigaphone again. No doubt. I paid +/- 0 then & it has lasted 8 yrs.

I purchased this unit in June of 2007. It worked great for three months, then the base unit died. After dealing with customer service for a month, I shipped the unit for repair [at my own expense]. Within ten days a brand new unit was shipped to me. This also lasted about a three months and died in the same manner. After months of research and an hour playing with demo units at a local store, I finally purchased this phone to replace a KX-T5300. I was mainly looking for talking caller ID and a message indication system for our VoIP service.

Setting up the new phone was super easy. I like the automatic shared phone book over our old system’s phone book where you had to sync entries. Most of the defaults are just right, although I turned on night mode on two handsets closest to our bedrooms. Nothing is worse than that wrong number at 2 in the morning!

I love love love the smaller handset size and color. The new handsets are sleek, slim, and small and look like some kind of Apple product. The base is a wonderful compact size, too. The whole system looks like something for home phone instead of business. Our T5300 was dark silver and just screamed business phone.  Read more...

I’ve had this phone for more that three years and I find it to be the best telephone purchase I’ve ever made. The sound is crystal clear and I have never experienced a dropped call. I like the fact that the handsets are capable of nearly all of the functions as the base set. The only regret I have is that it only stores 50 numbers. I have purchased two additional handsets and I’ve only replaced the batteries on two of them. I think that is pretty good use for a system I’ve had more than three years. Great buy.  Read more...

I’ve had my VTech phone for a couple of weeks now. I haven’t had any problems with it. I really love the feature to where I can call up to my daughter’s room with the intercome system, instead of yelling up the stairs for her. All you do is press the, “INT” button on the bottom of the phone & put in the handset # your calling to.

The only disappointment I have with this phone is that I wish it would have more wall paper displays & more ring tone options. Other than that, I haven’t had any problems so far.  Read more...

I purchased a Telephone Model KX-TG6431 from Amazon. The Panasonic saleslady assured me it would work for my wife who, in spite of our spending nearly ,000.00 so that she could hear better (especially on the phone), still had serious problems with the phones.

I don’t imagine that you could understand just how THRILLED I was when she used the DECT 6.0 phone for first time and she was able to HEAR EVERY WORD and the other party sounded as if they were in the room speaking to her.
